In this application, a pick-and-place solution was tested for a customer using an igus linear robot, a camera, and a conveyor belt. The individual components had to communicate seamlessly to ensure the metal part could be reliably picked up from the conveyor belt and accurately sorted. The integration of the camera for detecting and positioning the metal part, along with the precise control of the linear robot, played a crucial role in ensuring the system’s high reliability and efficiency.

This video demonstrates how injection molds can be efficiently and thoroughly cleaned using a gantry system, an intelligent cleaning system (IRC), and an e-chain set. The use of the gantry system is demonstrated, highlighting its precise positioning and movement. Following this, the intelligent cleaning system is introduced, including its functionality. The advantages of this cleaning method for injection molds include precise and automated cleaning of hard-to-reach areas, detection and removal of contaminants through intelligent sensors and software, as well as flexible and reliable energy and data transmission.
