The H2 EDU stands approximately 182 cm tall and weighs around 70 kg, offering a robust 31‑DOF architecture including 6‑DOF legs, 7‑DOF arms, a 3‑DOF waist, and a 2‑DOF head. Its permanent‑magnet synchronous motors provide exceptional responsiveness, with leg joints delivering up to 360 N·m of torque and arm joints up to 120 N·m. This enables stable walking, dynamic motion sequences, and manipulation tasks with a continuous 7 kg payload or up to 15 kg peak load. The frame uses aircraft‑grade aluminum, titanium alloys, and high‑strength plastics for durability under intensive research cycles.

The EDU version unlocks full secondary development and expands compute capabilities through an Intel Core i7 processing module and optional Jetson AGX Thor providing up to 2070 TOPS. Researchers gain access to stereo‑vision sensors, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, wide‑angle binocular cameras, a microphone array, and quick‑swap lithium batteries enabling about three hours of continuous operation. Local air‑cooling ensures stable performance during long training sessions, while frequent OTA updates enhance locomotion algorithms, interaction fidelity, and model efficiency over time.
