The SCHUNK EMH‑RP 036‑B provides a 530 N holding force on a 6.08 cm² magnetic surface and supports payloads of 8.5 kg horizontally and 3.5 kg vertically. Its electro‑permanent design requires only a brief 24 V pulse to activate or release, with a fast 300 ms switching time. Integrated electronics, IP52 protection, and stable performance up to 50 °C ensure reliable operation in clean to lightly contaminated environments.
Control is simple via 24 V DC signals, with built‑in logic electronics for ready/ error feedback and compatibility with standard PLCs. The gripper maintains its magnetic state even during power loss, and optional pole extensions allow adaptation to different part geometries.
Ideal for sheet‑metal handling, bin picking, robot pick‑and‑place, and applications requiring strong, safe gripping without continuous power.
